Full description and what we offer
Castle Pistol Club has been part of the New Castle, Pennsylvania shooting community for over 70 years. Located at 1630 Harlansburg Road, the club operates as a non-profit organization focused on providing safe, fun shooting facilities for members of all skill levels.
The heart of the club is a 12-bay indoor range with white LED backstop lighting. The facility is climate-controlled and well-lit enough to shoot accurately from the 50-foot positions. During cold months, infrared heaters are installed behind the shooting positions for comfort.
The indoor range hosts:
The club grounds feature two distinct outdoor range areas:
Concrete shooting pad with covered area, shelving for gear, benches, and plywood stands for target mounting. Metal cables strung for shotgun shooting to protect the wooden backstops.
Concrete floor with roof over shooting positions, benches, and wooden shelf for gear storage. Large plywood stands at 100 yards, with dirt humps at 25, 50, and 75 yards for shorter-distance shooting. Members can bring metal stands and set them at the closer distances.
Range maintenance is a shared responsibility. The club asks members to police their brass, paper, and trash. Burn barrels are located at the covered areas for your convenience.
Every Wednesday, Castle Pistol Club runs IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) competitions.
