Red Dot Range

Red Dot Training Range operates a dedicated 7-lane indoor shooting facility at 2820 Wilmington Road in New Castle, PA. Each lane runs 25 yards with automated target carriers, and lanes book on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations.

Shooting stops 30 minutes before closing. Hours: Wed-Sat 12-8pm, Sun 12-6pm. Closed Monday-Tuesday.

Rental firearms available at management discretion. Rental-specific ammo purchases required.

• •Handguns: $10 (extensive selection including Glock 17/19/21/34/43x/45, Sig P365/P320, S&W Shield variants, Springfield Hellcat, Walther PDP, Canik TP9)
• •Rifles & Shotguns: $15 (Springfield Saint .556, Mossberg 500 12GA)
• •Machine Guns: $40 (Heckler & Koch MP-5 9mm—competency demonstration required)

Bring your own ammo or purchase on-site. No incendiary or tracer rounds. No birdshot in shotguns.

• •Current Caliber Restrictions (township noise ordinance): Limited to .223/5.56 and below. 7.62x39 and shotguns still allowed. No .308, .30-06, or other full-power rifle cartridges at this time.

• •Pistols: Glock (17/19/20/21/34/45 MOS), Sig Sauer (P365, P320, P2022), S&W M&P 2.0, Shield EZ, Springfield Hellcat Pro, Walther PDP, Canik, Rock Island 1911, Ruger, Heritage Rough Rider, and more.

• •Rifles & Shotguns: Radical RF-15 .556, S&W Response 9mm, Remington 870, Savage (Axis II, Impulse), CZ Drake, Mossberg, Keystone Crickett .22.

• •Used Inventory: 50+ used firearms including Glock (various models), S&W M&P, Ruger, Sig, Springfield, Taurus, Walther, KelTec Sub2000, and others—prices $120-$900.

• •Layaway program: Deposit to reserve, flexible payments, pickup when paid in full
• •Gun purchases: Red Dot buys firearms at management discretion
• •Trade-ins: Apply firearm trade value toward new purchases
• •Direct from distributor: Partnership with Davidson's for online ordering and real-time inventory

• •Firearms training and medical training available
• •Pistol transfer facilitation for private PA resident sales (PA long gun private sales don't require transfers)
• •Gift cards sold in-store for firearms, accessories, ammo, and range services

Strict adherence required. Non-compliance results in immediate removal without refund.

• •Ear and eye protection mandatory indoors
• •All firearms pointed downrange at all times
• •Firearms loaded only at firing line
• •Ammunition stored at rear tables
• •Firearms moved between lanes only when unloaded and cased
• •Firearm malfunctions: Set down immediately and flag an employee—do not bring to counter or attempt self-clearing
• •Damage assessment fee: $50-$100 minimum; repeat violations may require safety class before return access

Minimum 12 years to be on premises. Must be 16+ and accompanied by someone 18+ to use range. (Insurance prohibits under-12 on property.)
