DCK Outdoor Range & Training Facility

DCK Outdoor Range & Training Facility is run by Darryle Sparks, a retired DPS lieutenant and former SWAT member who brings serious credentials to the operation. He's a TCOLE Master Peace Officer, TCOLE certified firearms instructor, and USCCA Partner Instructor with advanced certifications in ALERRT training, threat assessment, and firearms instruction across pistol, rifle, and shotgun platforms.

They offer scheduled training on Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Both youth (17 & under) and adult courses run 2.5 hours and include live fire on the range.

Adult Basic Handgun Training - $75 for 2.5 hours. Covers firearm safety rules, types of handguns, shooting techniques, maintenance, range etiquette, and ammunition accountability. Guns and ammunition available for rental if you don't have your own.

Youth Basic Handgun Training - $55 for 2.5 hours. Same curriculum adapted for younger shooters learning essential safe gun ownership knowledge.
