Private Party Handgun Transfers: - Both buyer and seller must be present - Both must provide valid photo ID - Recipient must be Pennsylvania resident - Background check required on recipient - Transfer fee applies even if background check is denied

Private Party Long Gun Transfers: - Schedule appointment for fastest processing - Pennsylvania residency required - Same fee structure applies
