Half Bubble Off Archery

What started as a private tuning operation in a basement became a full archery business when COVID shut down other local shops. The owner, a veteran bowhunter, began getting Facebook requests for demos and tuning work. After earning a reputation for tuning results, folks asked for a shop name—he joked about using #halfbubbleoffarchery because the original framing was "a half bubble off" plumb. The name stuck.

The owner discovered Athens Archery at a 2018 Indoor 3D tournament (Winter Can-Am Classic) when they loaned him a demo bow after a catastrophic failure. That gesture stuck with him. When he bought his first Athens bow in 2019, he was so impressed he replaced his entire collection with Athens models.
