The Lewistown Pistol Club started in the early 1960s when a handful of employees from the Lewistown Viscose wanted a place to shoot competitively. What began as a small group has grown into Mifflin County's shooting sports hub.
Open to US citizens and registered aliens legally entitled to own firearms in Pennsylvania. Annual membership: $50 individual, $60 family. Includes unlimited access to outdoor range, indoor range access, all weekly/monthly events, and scenario pit use. NRA membership required – this is a 100% NRA club.
New members need a 30-minute safety orientation and a current member sponsor. Regular meetings held first Wednesday each month at 8 PM.
Matches and practice sessions are open to the public – attend a match to find sponsors and meet members.
