Lyles Precision specializes in building highly accurate rifles for hunting and competition. Every build—from a lightweight 243 to a heavy benchrest rifle—goes through the same machining practices and assembly standards. Attention to detail isn't optional here; it's the foundation of every rifle that leaves the shop.
Custom rifles come with a 1/2 MOA or BETTER accuracy guarantee. Base models start at $5,250. They also have turn-key rifles available and can source builds using Remington 700 actions, Stiller actions, Defiance competition-grade actions, and premium stocks from McMillan, Mesa Precision, and Manners.

Brian teaches three focused courses from the shop:
- •Precision Rifle Building ($1,800 for 5 days) – Action blueprinting, precision chambering, muzzle brake installation, component selection, load development, optic mounting, glass bedding, and equipment selection. You observe real work and get the theory; no machine time yourself.
- •Stress Free Glass Bedding ($700 for 2 days) – Brian's proprietary technique for bedding without inducing stress. He treats it as an art that requires a delicate touch.
- •Rifleman's Reloading ($375 for 1 day) – Load development strategy, component selection, powder and primer choices, neck tension, cleaning, and maintenance.
Important: Lyles will NOT guarantee accuracy on rifles built with carbon fiber wrapped barrels. Based on range experience, they heat fast, cool slow, and accuracy wanders as temperature changes.
