Morgantown Rod & Gun Club isn't trying to be something it's not. It's a limited membership club tucked in the Pennsylvania hills between Morgantown and Honey Brook—the kind of place where you walk in and get a sincere greeting, a firm handshake, and the feeling that comes from being among people who actually share your interests.
"Just like the towns, our club has a small, comfortable and friendly feeling."
The club runs a rotating schedule of competitions throughout the year:
After shotgun shoots, they may run a Speed Gong shoot for shooters bringing 9mm or .40 S&W pistols.
Electric thrower housed in small shed next to clubhouse. Members can pull it out, load birds, and shoot from beside the thrower. Foot control operation. Reminder: Quarry is directly over the hill.
The club partners with major training organizations:
| Membership Type | Annual Dues | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Regular | $40 | Full membership |
| Senior (65+) | $10 | Reduced rate |
| Active Military | $5 | Special rate |
| New Member | $50 | Background check + sponsor required |
| Late Fee | $10 | If dues not paid by Jan 31 |
Club logo gear available at meetings and monthly shoots: - Hats and beanies with leather patches - T-shirts (long and short sleeve) - Sweatshirts - Patches - Coffee mugs - Stickers
Monthly shotgun and pistol shoots are open to the public—no membership required to participate. Shoots are reasonably priced and include food service. It's a good way to check out the facility and meet members without committing to membership.
