John Yanek has been pistolsmithing since 1979, building custom 1911 handguns that are tested for 100% reliability and accuracy before leaving the shop. His reputation spans decades—his work is used by Delta Force operatives, Border Patrol, Secret Service, FBI agents, and police officers. He's served twice as president of the American Pistolsmiths Guild and was named Pistolsmith of the Year.

Yanek doesn't sell guns from inventory or offer package deals. You own the frame, he builds it to your exact specifications using premium components. All work except bluing and plating is performed in-house.
