Altoona Rifle and Pistol Club anchors Sinking Valley's outdoor culture with serious infrastructure for multiple shooting disciplines. The club operates three dedicated rifle ranges—a 300-yard big bore range plus two covered 100-yard ranges—alongside a steel woods walk for black powder, .22LR, and pistol work.

The 150-seat clubhouse has full kitchen facilities and hosts one of the country's largest black powder rifle competitions. Available for member use year-round and rentable for private events.
Over 60 public events annually—everyone finds something to shoot
Membership opens access to all facilities and competitive programs. The club runs youth fishing derbies, firearms training, and sanctioned pistol competitions throughout the year.
