Juniata CO. Sportsman Association

Juniata County Sportsmen's Association is a long-established shooting club dedicated to promoting safe, organized shooting sports and outdoor education in Central Pennsylvania. Located in Port Royal, the association serves as a community hub for sportsmen and women of all skill levels.

The club maintains multiple specialized ranges for different shooting disciplines:

• •Trap Shooting Range - Member-operated trap field for clay target shooting
• •Archery Range - Outdoor ranges set at 10, 20, 30, and 40-yard distances with bales
• •Traditional Archery - Dedicated facilities for traditional bow shooting
• •Muzzleloader Range - 25, 50, and 75-yard backstops plus woods walk with hanging metal targets
• •Indoor .22 Range - Year-round indoor shooting for .22 rifles
• •Pistol Range - Dedicated pistol shooting area with 25-yard capability
• •Rifle Range - Precision rifle shooting at 25, 50, 100, and 200-yard distances

The association offers Hunter-Trapper Education Courses for those seeking to develop essential outdoor skills. These courses cover safe hunting practices, firearm handling, and wildlife management principles.

Monthly club meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the clubhouse. Meetings provide opportunities to connect with fellow sportsmen, discuss club operations, and learn about upcoming events. Membership applications are currently being accepted for the July 2025 - June 2026 membership year.
