The Rhode Island Trapshooting Association (RITA) is a premier shotgun club organization dedicated to competitive trap shooting in Rhode Island. With over 100 years of trapshooting history in the state, RITA represents the longest-standing tradition of moving target shooting in New England.
Currently representing 65 active members, the Rhode Island Trapshooting Association sanctions and organizes ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association) registered shoots throughout the state. RITA serves as the governing body for competitive trap shooting in Rhode Island and maintains membership in the national ATA network.
