American Legion Post 45, chartered in 1922, operates one of South Carolina's long-standing youth shooting programs. Located in Inman, SC, the post serves as a hub for veterans and their families while advancing youth development through competitive shooting.

Post 45 extends its mission into multiple community areas:
Youth Development - Palmetto Boys State program - Baseball and AL Lady Fastpitch Softball leagues - Law Cadet Program - Oratorical Constitutional Speech Contest with scholarship awards up to $2,500 at the department level and $25,000 nationally
Veteran Support - Honor Guard services for funerals and memorials - Direct financial assistance to local veterans and their families - Wreaths Across America cemetery remembrance program
Community Recognition - Teacher of the Year Award - Law Enforcement Officer Award - Firefighter Award - Memorial brick sponsorships for Inman Veterans Park
Post 45 welcomes veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces and military personnel currently serving. Membership enables continued service to God, Country, and Community.
