Founded in 2014 by retired Marine James Cavanagh, Myrtle Beach Guns was built on three pillars: "Great Prices, Great Service and Knowledgeable Staff." When Ethan and Lisa Carney took over in 2018, they maintained that same philosophy while bringing their own business experience to the operation. Their low-overhead model allows quick order-to-delivery turnaround, so you're not waiting weeks for inventory.
SC Concealed Weapons Permit Courses
They teach the official SC CWP course in a way that actually engages students. Unlike lecture-hall formats, their classes cover deadly force law, castle doctrine, the alter ego rule, and how the permit actually protects (and doesn't protect) you. After the state-mandated 50-question test, you'll do a live-fire qualification at multiple distances up to 15 yards.

Their course was specifically designed around entry-level shooters, knowing that not every permit applicant has prior firearms experience.
