Echo Training League focuses on practical firearms instruction with a legal foundation. Their Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit Course is their most scheduled offering—it runs regularly at Southern Hills Tactical in Custer and covers the classroom time you need to apply for South Dakota's Enhanced CCW.

Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit Course (Full Day) - Situational awareness and the 5 legal pillars of self-defense - South Dakota codified law on use of force - The 4 universal firearms safety rules - Foundation of handgun skills - Tactical medical response - 100 rounds of live-fire drills on the range

Upon completion, you get the certification needed to apply for South Dakota's Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit.

Defensive Rifle Foundations ($150)

If you picked up an AR but aren't sure what to do with it, this 8-hour course takes you through the actual fundamentals:

• •Mindset and use of force considerations
• •Loading, unloading, and shooting positions (standing, moving, prone, from cover)
• •Reloading, malfunctions, and gun manipulation
• •Optics, accessories, zeroing, and maintenance

• •LEOSA SD State Qualification Shoot - Retired law enforcement welcome for the annual state qualification (Fall River Gun Club, Hot Springs)
• •Basic Pistol Course - 4-hour introduction to handgun fundamentals
• •Handgun Familiarization - 4-hour beginner course at Fall River Gun Club
• •Ladies Handgun Familiarization - Ladies-only course, also at Fall River Gun Club

Most courses run at Southern Hills Tactical in Custer, SD. Some specialized courses use Fall River Gun Club in Hot Springs, SD (membership may be required for those venues).
