Full description and what we offer
Deadeye Custom Weapons LLC operates out of rural Firesteel, SD, owned and run by Jeremy Holien, a retired Air Force veteran with a lifelong background in firearms and metalwork. He moved the operation west from Sioux Falls in 2021 specifically to secure space for a full-service gunsmith shop and testing range.
Jeremy handles the full spectrum of gunsmithing work:
- •Custom gun builds – Complete one-off designs from the ground up
- •Firearm repairs – Troubleshooting and fixing guns that aren't functioning correctly
- •Restorations – Bringing family heirems back to like-new condition or operating condition
- •Suppressors – Recently licensed to build and sell suppressors (silencers)
- •Maintenance – Cleaning, basic services, and general upkeep
- •Custom knives – Full bladesmith work with custom leather cases and engraved gift boxes
- •Ammunition sales – FFL licensed to sell ammo
- •Appraisals – Value estimates for insurance purposes or inherited weapons
Jeremy also answers general gunsmith questions over the phone—ammunition selection, gun operation, anything firearms-related.
The shop sits on acreage that gives them room to operate properly. He's currently building out a dedicated shooting range on the property for testing and troubleshooting completed work. This is essential for a custom gunsmith—you need to verify every build works before handing it back.
Recently rebuilt all the BB guns for the local 4-H shooting sports club at no charge, working alongside his youngest son Max, who apprentices with him on gunsmith projects.
