Full description and what we offer
Johnson's Sporting Goods isn't just another gun shop with a gunsmith wedged into the corner. They operate with three highly trained, experienced gunsmiths on staff—and that's the differentiator that matters. Their head gunsmith, Steve Durren, holds Professional Member status with the American Custom Gun Makers Guild in two categories: Stockmaker and MetalSmith. His work has been judged and accepted by other Guild members, which in the custom gun world means something.
They staff Glock Armorers and offer a full range of gunsmithing services. If you can think of a repair, refinish, or modification, they can likely handle it.
| Technique | Notes |
|---|---|
| Hot Blueing | Factory-spec matching |
| Rust Blueing | Traditional finishes |
| Flame Coloring | Period-correct work |
| Color Case Hardening | Full refinishing |
All metal refinishing is done on a quote basis. Gunsmiths must see your firearm before an accurate quote can be given.
