Duffey Precision Gunworks was founded by Nathan Duffey, a combat veteran who served as a medic, firefighter, critical care paramedic, and police officer before transitioning to gunsmithing. Cleaning & Maintenance - Basic field strip and clean: $25 - Full service cleaning with disassembly and safety checks: $100 - Ultrasonic cleaning (pistol $100, long gun $120) with spring replacement if needed

Rifle Work - Bore sighting, scope mounting, trigger jobs, barrel cuts, rebarreling, headspace checks - AR-15 specific: handguard changes ($60–$140), barrel changes ($80–$130), trigger and gas block installation

Pistol & Revolver Services - Slide cuts and optic cuts ($75–$100+), sight and trigger installation - Action jobs ($120–$170), barrel changes, grip modifications

Refinishing - Duracoat coating (pistol slides from $40, revolvers $100) - Bluing, Parkerizing, stippling, checkering, stock refinishing - Full restoration work ($400+) based on condition

Shotgun Work - Barrel cuts, crown work, choke installation, ejector replacement

Specialties Beyond Firearms - Custom laser engraving, vector design, sublimation, and heat transfer vinyl on tumblers, wallets, hats, shirts, and more

Diagnostic and inspection fee is $40 (credited toward your project if work proceeds). Minimum shop fee of $20 for quick consultations. Expedited service available for $50 surcharge.
