"We stress safety first, accuracy second, and THEN speed."
This isn't just a tagline—it's the operational priority. The range maintains a 5 mph speed limit for vehicle traffic. New shooter orientations happen before every match to ensure everyone understands safe procedures.
All online registrations happen through PractiScore. You'll need a free PractiScore account to sign up for matches. Registration typically opens in advance, with specific dates varying by match. Results are posted immediately after completion.

Whether you've shot one match or zero, you can show up. The 9:15 AM new shooters' meeting covers basic format, stage walkthroughs, safety rules, and what to expect. Most participants start at the General Public price point and move up through IDPA classifications as they compete more.
Bandera IDPA has maintained consistent monthly events dating back to at least 2019, with detailed results and competitor scores archived on PractiScore. This establishes a reliable, long-running club with an active shooter community.
