Full description and what we offer
Crystal Pawn, founded in 2015 by owners Juan and Diego, operates as a minority-owned pawn shop serving Houston's community with secured loans, resale inventory, and FFL transfer services. They accept firearms as collateral alongside jewelry, tools, electronics, and musical instruments.
Bring in your firearm or other valuable item for appraisal. If the shop assesses resale value, they'll offer a loan amount based on condition, market demand, and current worth. You negotiate the amount, sign the loan agreement, and walk out with cash. Your item stays secure in their vault while you own it.
Loan terms are flexible: Pay the monthly interest by the due date to keep renewing your pawn indefinitely. If you miss 2 months of interest payments, the shop keeps the item and sells it to recoup the loan. You can pay off early with prorated interest, or pay down the principal anytime.
Loan Examples: $200 loan = $40/month interest. $500 loan = $75/month interest. Rates range from 180% to 240% depending on loan size.
Crystal Pawn holds an FFL and processes transfers for $40. They handle two types:
Local transfers: Both seller and buyer come in. Seller brings the firearm and ID; they log it into their books. Buyer completes federal and state forms with valid ID, passes background check, and takes ownership.
Long distance transfers: Shipping dealer includes ink-signed FFL copy, invoice with purchaser's name, phone, serial number. Crystal Pawn receives it, logs it, and facilitates the transfer when the buyer comes in.
"We offer very competitive prices. We will beat anyone else's loans." — Crystal Pawn

Their current inventory includes firearms like the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX in .44 Magnum (gold with tiger stripes, used, great condition with case), alongside vintage musical instruments and tools. Items listed "On Sale" reflect their negotiated pricing model.
