Full description and what we offer
MTE Machining LP operates out of Godley, Texas (just west of Fort Worth) and specializes in AR platform rifles and precision gunsmithing. They build complete rifles, stock barrel assemblies, and handle custom finishing work—all with attention to proper headspacing and lug matching.
MTE stocks barrels across multiple platforms and calibers:
Most barrel assemblies include bolts that are headspaced and lug-matched to the barrel—meaning less guessing when you're putting your build together. Prices on matched assemblies typically run $400–$690 depending on caliber and bolt choice.
They sell finished hunting rifles like "The Game Chaser" AR-15 in 6 ARC or 22 ARC ($3,200) and offer custom work on customer-supplied firearms.
MTE's Cerakote selection includes:
| Finish | Price |
|---|---|
| Single color (customer rifle) | $200 |
| Tri-blended camo | $300 |
| Southeastern Camo | $400 |
| Multi-Cam | $600 |
| M81 | $600 |
| Sniper in the Sage Grass (West Texas camo) | $300 |
Customer-supplied rifles can be Cerakoted for $200 for a single color, making it affordable to refinish an older gun or match a camo scheme.
MTE handles standard gunsmith work:
Beyond barrels, they stock AR parts:
MTE maintains on-hand inventory of finished barrels and components. Some barrels have 2–4 week lead times if not in stock. Unturned blanks are $350 each.
