Johnson County 4H Shooters Club

Johnson County 4H Shooters Club focuses on developing young marksmen through competitive 3D archery and hunters education. The club runs organized shoots throughout the year and connects members with regional shooting competitions across Texas.

• •3D Archery Shoots - Spring and fall competitions with scoring and results tracking. Their 2025 fall shoot included online signup and waiver packets.
• •Hunters Education Classes - Certification courses to prepare new hunters. Classes run seasonally with registration available through the club.
• •Youth Coaching - 4H certified coaches including Danny and Debbie Laughman and Mike Rantala provide instruction and guidance.
• •Regional Competition Connections - Links to Texas Field Archery Association (TFAA), Texas ASA Federation, and Youth Hunters Education Challenge events.

Youth can enroll in 4H through the official 4H Online platform, then join the shooters club. The club maintains a blog and regularly updates members on upcoming competitions and educational opportunities.
