Quail Creek Range

Quail Creek Range is North Texas' premier outdoor shooting facility located in Northlake, offering comprehensive shooting experiences for all skill levels. This public-access range features multiple specialized ranges for handgun, rifle, shotgun, and archery disciplines.

Quail Creek Range operates five distinct shooting areas:

• •100-Yard Rifle Range - Covered facility with 20 bench positions and table tops, ideal for sighting in rifles and extended-range practice
• •Intermediate Rifle Range - Distances of 25 and 50 yards with 14 total positions; shotguns allowed with slugs only
• •Pistol Ranges - Three distance options (7, 15, and 25 yards) with 27 bays featuring pulldown screens and large bays for standing or seated firing
• •Police Range - Dedicated law enforcement facility also used for LTC (License to Carry) qualifying
• •Archery Range - 40-50 yard range with round bales for arrow capture, elevated shooting house, and target blocks available for rent

Open to the public Tuesday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Range fees begin at $22 for rifle and pistol, $17 for youth (15 and under), and $18 for archery. Discount cards, senior rates, and military/first responder discounts are available.

Beyond range access, Quail Creek Range offers professional NRA-certified training courses including Basic Pistol, CCW (Concealed Carry), Holster Draw, Low Light Shooting, and Shooting While Moving. The facility also handles FFL transfers and provides Gift Cards.
