Rockin G Ranch is a Texas hunting outfitter owned and operated by Kris and Erik Grimland, located just outside historic Turkey, Texas. The ranch spans more than 2,000 acres with both low fence and high fence hunting options, plus several stocked fishing lakes with largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish.

Rockin G caters to all legal hunting styles: rifle, shotgun, handgun, muzzleloader, and archery. They work with each hunter to match the experience to their preferences—whether you want quality blinds and feeders or safari-style spot-and-stalk hunting.

Trophy Whitetail Hunts start at 150 inches, with deer over 200 inches available on request. Trophy Mule Deer Hunts average 160+ inches but are limited availability and typically booked well in advance. Cull hunts also available. All deer packages include a 2-day minimum (2 days, 3 nights).

Exotic hunts run year-round with only a Texas small game hunting license required. The ranch operates on a day fee plus trophy fee system—lodge, meals, and services covered by day fee. No trophy fee charged until you harvest an animal.

Species available include: - Alpine Ibex, Aoudad, Axis, Blackbuck - Bison (trophy and non-trophy) - Catalina, Roosevelt Elk, Rocky Mountain Elk - Eurasian Boar, Fallow Deer (white, chocolate, spotted) - Mouflon, Nilgai, Pierre David Deer, Red Deer - Scimitar Horned Oryx, Sika Deer, Zebra - Large whitetail (170+)

Species like bongo, markhor, and sambar available on request. With every exotic hunt booked, you also get free hog hunting, varmint/predator hunting, and catch-and-release fishing.

Wild hog hunts available year-round. Recommended calibers: 243 minimum, though 270 and up preferred. 270 WSM to 300 WM are very effective. Hogs are extremely tough—practice with your weapon and be honest about your abilities. If you draw blood, the animal is considered harvested and full trophy fee applies.

Rio Grande turkey hunts and wing shooting packages available. Licenses and tags required—obtain through TPWD before arrival.

Catch-and-release fishing included with exotic hunts; fishing rods and reels not provided. Several lakes stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish.

Rockin G Ranch owns Top of Texas Taxidermy, handling all mount and preservation needs for your harvested game.

Hog hunting: 243 minimum, 270+ preferred, 270 WSM–300 WM very effective

Exotic sheep/goats: 223 minimum, 243+ preferred

Philosophy: Every effort made for clean shooting situations, but familiarity with your weapon beats anything. If uncomfortable with a shot, pass and try again. Animals wounded and not recovered still incur full trophy fees.

All hunts require hunting licenses obtained before arrival. For predators, varmints, hogs, and exotics: small game license. For deer, turkey, wing shooting: specific licenses, stamps, and tags required. Check TPWD at www.tpwd.texas.gov for details.

Rockin G strictly abides by all local, state, and federal hunting laws. Game wardens have access to the ranch and may check licenses. Violation of ranch rules or any law results in immediate removal without refund.
