Full description and what we offer
Fort Bliss Rod & Gun Club operates one of the premier trap and skeet facilities in the tri-state area, offering shooters a hunting lodge atmosphere with serious range infrastructure. The club features:
The archery range features nine different animal targets—coyote, bear, wild boar, mule deer, elk, turkey, javelina, and ram—set at distances of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards. Each target has its own independent firing line. The range is open Saturdays and Sundays.
| Archery Service | Non-Member Fee |
|---|---|
| Standard Archery | $9.00 |
| 3-D Archery | $10.00 |
| Bow Rental (5 arrows) | $8.00 |
| Damaged/Missing Arrow | $2.00 per arrow |
The full-service pro shop stocks common calibers year-round: 9mm, 5.56, and 12 gauge always in stock. They carry ammunition for pistols, rifles, and shotguns, plus a large selection of reloading components, shooting accessories, safety wear, and archery equipment. Club members receive 15% off purchases.
You don't need to be active duty or a member to buy from the pro shop.
The hunting lodge includes a lounge, snack bar, meeting room, and covered pavilion. Full-service catering is available with professionally trained staff experienced in event planning, menu design, themes, and room setup.
The club offers Texas LTC certification courses on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. 50 rounds of ammunition required for the course.
Trap and skeet self-pull days: Tuesday and Thursday, 8am-3pm. Friday-Sunday hours extend to 5pm and 1-2pm respectively.
All ranges enforce strict safety protocols: ear and eye protection mandatory, guns always pointed downrange, no alcohol on ranges, and all children under 18 must be supervised. The club maintains clear communication standards ("clear" = guns unloaded; "hot" = range is live).
