Andersen grew up in Wisconsin around guns and construction work. His father and cousin George taught him shooting basics, but his real education came later. He relocated out west in his early twenties and spent years hunting big game in Wyoming's high country, competing in precision matches, and experimenting with rifle accurizing and reloading. That hands-on experience informed everything Blue Mountain Precision does now.
