Full description and what we offer
Fieldcraft Survival operates from American Fork, Utah, offering tactical firearms courses and survival training designed around real-world application. Their philosophy is simple: gear matters less than the skills to use it effectively.
Firearms Instruction - Carbine Level 1 & 2 courses (moving and shooting, rifle manipulation) - Gun Fighter Carbine training (fundamentals-heavy, emphasis on eliminating bad habits) - Home Defense Tactics (car, home, and business scenarios)
Survival & Navigation - Land Navigation courses (taught by Kevin Estela) - First Aid kit building and medical preparedness - Budget food storage strategies
Beyond training, they stock survival gear and everyday carry equipment—fanny packs, chest rigs, mobility duffels, and tactical bags. Current promotions include 40% off fanny packs and 60% off chest rigs.
"I left the Home Defense Tactics course with Kevin, Andy, and Sean feeling much more prepared, capable and confident in being able to defend myself in my home, car, or business." — Kate, recent student
Their instructors teach across skill levels—from prior military who say they learned new material, to beginners who gain confidence. Students consistently mention the professional instruction and focus on fundamentals over flashy tactics. One competition shooter noted the biggest takeaway was "unlearning some bad habits and building efficiency through the elimination of lazy tactics."
Courses run regularly in Utah and Denver. Check their site for upcoming dates—both Carbine Level 1 and Level 2 offerings are available.
Their blog covers practical topics beyond training—gear vs. skill balance, fitness and finances in preparedness, vehicle first aid kits, and budget-friendly food storage.
