Full description and what we offer
Kolob Outfitters was started by Morgan Abbott with a simple goal: unforgettable hunts. While Morgan is now the sole owner, the mission hasn't changed—he wants every hunter to have the funnest, wildest time possible while actually hunting hard for quality animals.
Morgan's philosophy is blunt: the hunt means more than the score sheet. They hunt exhaustingly hard, scout relentlessly, and strive to kill the biggest animals possible—but not at the expense of the experience. By the end of your hunt, you'll have a trophy, an exhausted body that feels good, a stomach sore from laughter, and lifelong friendships.
They operate in Millard County, Utah with private leases that deliver results. Their cow elk hunts run near 100% success rates because they've built relationships with landowners and understand the country deeply.
Starting at $3,750 for spike elk - Mule Deer: $5,000 (archery, muzzy, early rifle, general rifle options) - Elk Spike Only: $3,750 - Elk Open Bull: $5,000 - Easy-to-obtain tags mean short-notice bookings at reasonable prices - Guides assist with tag applications to match your point situation

All big game hunts run 5 days—hunting Monday through Saturday with Sundays off. Regulars can request their preferred guide (availability permitting). The outfit books a year in advance but accommodates short-notice general season hunts.
Deposits are non-refundable because they're spent immediately on permits, insurance, scouting gas, food, and gear prep. Failed hunts (no animal harvested) aren't refundable because weather, animal movement, and hunting pressure can't be controlled—only opportunity can be guaranteed.
