The Weber County Sport Shooting Complex operates public ranges in Ogden that serve casual shooters and serious competitors. Their setup includes a 50-yard range with a trolley system and a 300-yard precision rifle range—two different facilities designed for different shooting disciplines.

No muzzleloaders or shotguns allowed at either range
Ammo must be inspected on arrival. All magazines must be unloaded. Steel-cased, armor-piercing, or tracer rounds are prohibited. Russian ammunition is not allowed. The complex sells its own targets ($1 standard paper, $2 splatter reactive)—no outside targets permitted.
They host monthly shooting sports:
Age restrictions: 50-yard range accepts ages 6+; 300-yard range ages 10+. Anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
