Robert Hight spent years as an NHRA Funny Car crew member and racecar mechanic before becoming a 3X NHRA Funny Car World Champion. Since stepping away from racing, he's channeled that same competitive intensity into shotgun barrel tuning—and it shows.
"The same mechanical instincts that took him from crew member to 3X NHRA World Champion now drive his work inside a shotgun barrel."
Robert treats every barrel like it's going on his own gun. He mics, measures, and rechecks until everything is perfect. His eye for detail is surgical. If there's a way to improve consistency, balance, or pattern quality, he'll find it. "Good enough" has never been part of his vocabulary.

Derrick Mein (2-time Olympian): "The quality of work and attention to detail that Robert provides is amazing. I'm really impressed with how the barrels perform. The breaks are awesome at all distances."
Aaron Willoughby (30+ year ATA competitive trapshooter): "There is no one else I would trust after shooting these. They truly are the best."
Robert appeared on the Trap Talk from the Back Fence podcast breaking down how precision tuning—much like high-performance racing—improves patterns, consistency, and results. No theory. Just real insight from someone who understands performance at the highest level.
