Centerville Small Arms Association is a competitive rifle shooting club located in Bountiful, Utah, affiliated with the NRA, Utah State Rifle and Pistol Association, and the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). The range serves as a premier destination for precision rifle competition and youth firearms safety training.
The association hosts a variety of competitive shooting matches throughout the year:
- •NRA High Power Rifle - Across the Course matches with Service and Match Rifles at 200, 300, and 600 yards
- •Midrange Prone Competitions - 600-yard shooting from prone position, including F-Class and Service Rifle categories
- •EIC Sporting Rifle - CMP-sanctioned Excellence In Competition matches combining standing, seated, and prone positions
- •CMP Vintage Military Rifle - Matches featuring M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, 1903 Springfields, and other military surplus rifles
- •Smallbore Prone and Position - .22 caliber rifle competitions
- •CMP Rimfire Sporter - Rimfire competition matches
The range is exclusively for Centerville Small Arms Association members. However, the public is invited to participate in organized events held at the range. Seasonal "Hunter Sight-In / Open Range" days are available to non-members as posted in the schedule. All guests require supervision by a member and must pay a $2 daily use fee.
The range features electronic target scoring systems, allowing shooters to view shots and scores in real-time via smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Pit toilets are available on-site. The range operates seasonally, with winter closures due to weather and accessibility concerns.
Centerville Small Arms Association welcomes new shooters and offers practice matches for skill development. The club is committed to youth firearms safety training and developing sound marksmanship skills with the goal of competing at the national level. Volunteers are actively recruited and trained.

- •Members only (public invited to scheduled events only)
- •Paper targets only - no steel targets
- •No shotguns or automatic rifles
- •No large caliber ammunition (CheyTac or .50 BMG)
- •No incendiary, tracer, or armor-piercing ammunition
- •No shooting on Sundays
- •No shooting after sunset
- •All persons under 21 must have an adult member present
