R & L Archery

R&L Archery is celebrating its 50th year serving hunters, archers, and shooters across central Vermont. Located at 70 Smith Street in Barre, this is a true one-stop shop for archery equipment, firearms, and outdoor sporting gear.

Archery Inventory

R&L carries crossbows from BearX, Ravin, Ten Point, and Wicked Ridge—from the $499 Wicked Ridge Warrior to premium models like the $2,699 Ravin R470 XK7. Their compound bow selection includes Bear, Bowtech, Diamond, Elite, Hoyt, and Mathews, with dozens of configurations from beginner models around $200 to high-end bows exceeding $2,000.

They stock arrows by Beman, Easton, Gold Tip, and Three Rivers—aluminum, carbon/aluminum, carbon, and cedar—plus custom building with your choice of wraps and fletch styles. Broadheads come from G5, Grim Reaper, Muzzy, Rage, Ramcat, Slick Trick, Swhacker, Wac'em, and Wasp in fixed-blade and expandable options.

Other archery essentials: bow sights (beginner to micro-tune), releases from Tru-Fire, Scott, and Tru-Ball, stabilizers, quivers, bow cases (soft and hard), targets from Block, Delta, Field Logic, McKenzie, Morrell, and Rinehart.

Firearms

R&L carries new and used rifles, handguns, and tactical firearms. They maintain a searchable used firearms inventory with photos online, plus stock gun safes and cases. All the typical accessories you'd expect are on hand.

This is a major differentiator. You can try any bow before buying—both crossbows and compounds. No guessing, no "bow in a box." Every purchase leaves their shop set up, sighted in, and customized to you.
