Full description and what we offer
Founded in 1960, Wild Hill has been the go-to hunting destination in Vermont for over 60 years. Located in the remote hills of West Fairlee, the preserve sits on terrain that naturally supports big game—swamps, streams, hills, and open meadows create genuine wilderness hunting conditions without the travel costs of heading out west.
Your host and guide brings a lifetime of experience from Alaska, Canada, and South America as a hunter, trapper, guide, and bush pilot. He designed the property specifically for hunters who want real hunting, not just access to game.
Hunts available via rifle, muzzleloader, or archery.
The main lodge sleeps 13; a separate cabin sleeps 8. Both have spring-fed running water, bathrooms, heating, hot water, and battery-operated lighting. Seven family-style meals included daily—featuring wild boar, buffalo, and other game prepared Vermont style.
