Established in 1910, Caledonia Forest & Stream Club is a premier shooting sports facility in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, dedicated to conservation and marksmanship excellence. This member-based club offers one of New England's finest ranges for hunters, competitive shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The club maintains multiple specialized ranges:
- •200-Yard Range - For rifle shooting and heavy caliber firearms (.338 Lapua Magnum, .50 BMG)
- •100-Yard Range - Versatile rifle and pistol range
- •50-Yard Range - Rimfire and centerfire pistols, pistol-caliber rifles, and shotguns
- •Pistol Pit Range - Close-range silhouette and pistol target shooting
- •Trap Field - Clay target shooting with dedicated trap house
- •Archery Area - 3D and traditional archery (no broadheads on 3D targets)
CFSC hosts numerous competitive and recreational events including The Running Deer Rifle Match, International Benchrest Rifle Shoots, trap competitions, and the annual kids' Fishing Derby. The club offers Hunter Safety Courses and firearms instruction for all skill levels, emphasizing proper technique and environmental stewardship.
The club operates as a private membership organization offering Individual, Family, and Life membership options. All activities are open to members and their supervised guests. Located on Field and Stream Road in St. Johnsbury, the facility provides a welcoming environment for experienced marksmen and beginners alike.

- •No Tannerite or exploding targets
- •Eye and ear protection required
- •Individuals under 18 must be under direct adult supervision
- •Heavy caliber firearms (.338 Lapua Magnum, .50 BMG) limited to 200-yard range only
- •Trap field: shotgun-only, target loads only (no magnums, slugs, or buckshot)
- •No metal, glass, or debris targets
