Parabellum Sports launched during the 2008 economic downturn—a calculated bet that Second Amendment interest would only grow. That prediction paid off. For nearly two decades, they've supported shooters across Northern Virginia with straightforward FFL services, firearms sales, and the regulatory knowledge you need in Virginia's shifting legal landscape.
Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar shops, Parabellum Sports runs primarily through gun shows—their main sales venue. You'll find them regularly at The Nation's Gun Show (now relocated to Manassas Mall as of early 2026) and other Northern Virginia shows throughout the year. Check their Events & News calendar for current dates.
All sales are face-to-face and by appointment only. Inventory isn't kept on-site; in-stock items are delivered to their location for pre-arranged purchases. This model keeps costs down and lets them maintain competitive pricing.
They carry quality, name-brand new and used firearms including: - Glock - Taurus - Ruger - Rock River Arms - Mossberg - Springfield
Inventory changes constantly. Contact them directly at 703-307-2399 or [email protected] to check on specific items, availability, or get a price quote.
Ammunition: They actively source ammo at below-market prices and try to keep stock available. Given current market conditions, calling ahead is smart.
If you've purchased a firearm online, Parabellum Sports handles the transfer:
| Transfer Type | Fee |
|---|---|
| One long gun and/or one handgun | $35 |
| Multiple handguns (add'l) | $10 each |
| Military/Law Enforcement | $30 |
As of October 29, 2025, private sale background checks are no longer required in Virginia due to a court injunction. This is subject to change with Virginia law shifts.
All FFL transactions still require NICS approval. Most get instant approval; delayed transactions typically resolve in 10 minutes to several days depending on circumstances. Virginia has no waiting period yet.
Can't find what you need in current stock? They'll custom-order from suppliers. Whether you're shopping for personal protection, home defense, hunting, or sport shooting, they offer expert consulting on firearm selection, ammunition types, and accessories.
Trade-ins are considered case-by-case, usually at gun shows. Contact them to inquire.
