Columbia County Shooting Association operates a membership-supported range in Dayton serving shooters across the region. The club runs regular events, youth programs, and two major annual matches that draw competitors from across the SASS community.
Youth Shooting - Columbia County Marksmen 4-H Club meets the first Sunday of every month
Cowboy Action (SASS) - Pataha Rustlers shoot the second Saturday monthly (except July) - "Heck of it" Match - May, 2nd weekend (8 Wild Bunch stages + 14 Cowboy stages) - "Biggest Little Match" - October, 2nd weekend (same format) - Scores posted on PractiScore.com under "Pataha"

"We still don't promise much in the way of frills, but we do promise a lot of shooting!"
Meals provided: soup and sandwiches lunch Friday-Sunday, plus Saturday potluck (bring an entree). SASS membership not required for matches.
Membership Matters
The club needs a minimum of 75 active paid members to cover: - Land use fees - Insurance - Port-a-potty service
Keeping membership paid directly prevents fee increases. Bills don't include range maintenance or upgrades—member investment keeps the facility operational.
Range Rules

Visit in person for same-day membership cards. Download membership applications and HOI/BLM apps from their website.
SASS rules apply for all matches. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any shooter.
