West Coast Armory

Established in 2005, West Coast Armory has grown from a startup to one of Bellevue's most complete firearms facilities. Located at 13216 Southeast 32nd Street, they operate as a full-service gun store, indoor shooting range, and gunsmith shop all under one roof.

The crown jewel is their 31,000 square-foot indoor shooting facility, which holds an NSSF Five-Star rating and ranks among the nation's largest. The range features:

• •Action Target rifle-grade shooting stalls
• •NRA-certified Range Safety Officers on staff
• •EPA-OSHA-NIOSH certified air filtration system (keeping air lead-free)
• •Training programs from basic handling to advanced tactical courses
• •Membership-based access to the general public

West Coast Armory specializes in silencer sales with a major advantage: they handle the entire tax stamp process in-house. They maintain a Silencer Shop kiosk in their showroom where customers can:

• •Create Silencer Shop accounts without passwords
• •Upload ID verification via mobile app
• •Purchase tax stamps directly
• •Schedule certification appointments (in-person or by phone, 20 minutes)

Current approval timeline is approximately 9 months from ATF after certification. They stock a vast inventory of silencers and provide expert guidance on hearing protection, recoil reduction (20-30% reduction), hunting applications, and teaching new shooters.

Washington State law requires all buyers to: - Complete an approved HB-1143 firearms safety course - Pass federal background checks - Meet age requirements (18 for rifles/shotguns, 21 for pistols/semi-autos) - Provide current photo ID

They also buy and trade used firearms, offering two options: direct purchase or trade-in credit toward new inventory. Estate appraisals are available for antique and collector guns.

After 12 years with the shop, their beloved gunsmith Chris "Kiwi" Burton returned to New Zealand in 2023. While they search for a replacement, limited services remain available:
