PISTOL for Beginners

Ridgedale Rod & Gun Club runs a pistol match on June 14th at 10 a.m. geared toward shooters building fundamentals. You'll shoot against the clock and targets in a format that's straightforward enough to focus on your grip, sight picture, and trigger press without getting lost in complex stage design.

This is a casual competitive environment—you'll see what your pistol work looks like under a little pressure, get feedback from experienced shooters, and find out where your skills actually stand. Good entry point if you've been practicing at static range sessions and want to test yourself in a match setting.
