Edwards Firearms is run by Brandon Edwards, a Marine Corps veteran and certified firearms instructor with extensive experience. The operation focuses on one thing: teaching safe and proper firearm handling.

• •Concealed Carry Certification — The flagship course runs at least 4 hours with classroom and live-fire range training. You'll fire a minimum of 50 rounds during one-on-one instruction. The certificate exceeds West Virginia's CCW application requirements. Topics cover gun safety rules, semi-automatic operation, ammunition selection, pistol storage, fundamentals of shooting, and maintenance. $50 per person

• •NRA Basic Pistol Shooting — Eight-hour course (classroom + range time) covering both revolvers and semi-automatics. You'll learn NRA safety rules, pistol parts and operation, shooting fundamentals, and range procedures. The course ends with live fire on a 9mm semi-automatic. Firearms and ammunition included. Students receive the NRA handbook, safety brochure, and marksmanship qualification booklet. $125 per person

• •NRA FIRST Steps Pistol — Three-hour intro course for hands-on orientation to a specific pistol action type. Includes classroom, range time, and all study materials. $75 per person

• •Gun Safety Seminar — Covers gun storage, firearm types and parts, magazines, ammunition, sights, range expectations, and cleaning. Firearms and ammunition provided. Requires minimum 6 students. $50 per person (plus range fees)

• •Private Instruction — One-on-one or two-person lessons tailored to your goals. Work around your schedule, day or night, weekday or weekend. Topics include handgun introduction, shot placement, rapid target acquisition, problem-solving, handgun selection guidance, and field-stripping. $65/hour (one person), $90/hour (two people); 2-hour minimum
