North River Sportsman Club

North River Sportsman Club is a full-facility recreational and training center in Paw Paw, WV, just 25 minutes from Winchester, Virginia. The property spans 197 acres at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains with over 850 feet of frontage on the North River—a stocked West Virginia waterway.

• •Handgun Range: 30-station static range with contact to 35 yards. The tactical section features 180-degree firing with cover/concealment barricades, two 7-plate racks, a dozen ¼-scale AR500 man targets, and a 7-plate dueling tree.

• •Rifle Range: 25 to 600 yards with wooden target holders at 100-600 yards (supports 10 shooters simultaneously). Multiple reactive steel targets throughout. Shooters can fire from all five positions—standing, kneeling, sitting, squat, prone—or use concrete shooting benches. Both ranges can be used safely at the same time.

Membership is by invite only and requires: - Completion of 2 Valley Guns II firearms training courses (Defensive Handgun II or higher, plus Defensive Rifle/Carbine I) - NRSC Range Safety Officer certification - Signed liability waiver and terms of use - Registration of up to 4 guests - Annual dues (monthly billing available)
