Shipping Firearms to WV Cerakote:

Federal law permits direct shipment of firearms to gunsmith services under the "Gunsmith and Factory Repair" exception. You do not need an FFL dealer intermediary.

• •Rifles & Shotguns: May ship via USPS ground, UPS, or FedEx ground (through licensed dealer)

• •Include signed work order with shipment

WV Cerakote holds an active FFL and processes both incoming and outgoing firearm transfers.

Transfer Fees: - $5 incoming transfer (cash only) - $5 outgoing transfer (cash only) - West Virginia sales tax included

Incoming Transfers: - Accepts out-of-state transfers from FFL dealers and non-licensed individuals - Complete FFL Transfer Request Form before shipment - Will provide FFL copy to licensed dealers - Require government-issued photo ID from non-licensed individuals - Purchaser name must be included with shipment - Pickup must be completed by purchaser (cannot designate family member or friend) - Valid government-issued photo ID with current address required at pickup - Form 4473 and NICS background check required (or valid WV CCW permit issued after June 4, 2014) - All handguns must include secure gun storage/safety device before leaving shop

Age Requirements: - Long guns: Must be 18+ (can transfer to any state resident if legal in both states) - Handguns/lower receivers: Must be 21+ and legal resident of West Virginia

Outgoing Transfers: - Ships to valid FFL dealers only - Customer responsible for all shipping costs - Does not ship to CA, IL, HI, MA, NJ, NYC boroughs, or Washington DC - Does not process NFA/Class III transfers

NICS Denial: - Shop assists with return if seller allows - Customer pays return postage and $5 transfer fee - If no return available, shop reserves right to sell firearm and retain proceeds
