Putnam County Gun Club operates multiple ranges supporting rifle, pistol, and smallbore disciplines. The club has made significant facility upgrades in recent years, including improved bays 4/5/6, a concrete access pad for accessibility at the smallbore range, and a new multipurpose building with power, water, restrooms, and kitchen facilities.
The club awards the Gene Richmond Scholarship annually and administers CMP Scholarship opportunities for shooters.

With support from Friends of the NRA grants, the club has invested over $18,000 in recent improvements: - Berm work and bay upgrades - Concrete pad for wheelchair accessibility - New keypad-controlled gate system - Safety equipment including trauma kits, steel target stands, shooting glasses, and earplugs - 12" rimfire targets for youth events
