Genesis Custom Gunsmithing LLC, established in 2020 by Wesley Koran, is a veteran-owned gunsmith shop focused on custom 1911 builds and general firearm repair. Wesley serves in the US Coast Guard Reserve as a member of the US Coast Guard Shooting Team, and brings 30 years of experience as a firefighter/paramedic to his work at the bench.

Each 1911 is fit and built by hand using techniques from the old school of gunsmithing. The shop's competitive shooting background—specifically Bullseye competition experience—shapes how every firearm is approached. Reliability and accuracy are non-negotiable.
