Lewie Drake, a retired Army Special Forces officer with extensive emergency medical training, Special Ops Firearm Instruction brings real-world expertise to civilian firearms education. Drake served as a Special Operations medic in the 1/75th Ranger Battalion, attended Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, and achieved the rank of Captain with two decorations for valor in combat. That background shapes everything they teach.
Firearms Classes: - NRA Basic Pistol ($150) – traditional or eLearning hybrid formats - NRA Concealed Carry ($150) – CCW knowledge and defensive mindset - Wisconsin DOJ Concealed Carry ($75) – state-required instruction plus legal liability, storage, and force justification - NRA Personal Protection In The Home ($150) – handgun defense for self and family - NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home ($150) – concealed carry outside residence - NRA Basic Rifle or Shotgun ($150) – eight hours classroom and range time - NRA Range Safety Officer ($100) – nine-hour certification course - Hell Day Class ($250, normally $375 value) – combines NRA Basic Pistol, NRA Concealed Carry, and Wisconsin DOJ Concealed Carry in one intensive day. Couples special pricing available at $200/person.
Coaching Lessons: - Pistol coaching (NRA Level 1): $50/hour – small group or one-on-one - Rifle coaching (NRA Level 1): $50/hour – small group or one-on-one

Students can bring their own gear or use the school's equipment: - Glock 44 (.22 caliber) pistols - Quality ammunition - Blade-Tech holsters and magazine carriers - SIRT laser training pistols and rifles - Professional cleaning kits with mats
Medical side features New Preston CPR mannequins (adult and infant), AED trainers, US Army quick-clot dressings, and CPR masks with one-way valves.
