Milford Hills Hunt Club

Millford Hills Hunt Club operates on nearly 500 rolling acres in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin—positioned perfectly between Madison and Milwaukee. Founded in 1996, the preserve has built itself around a straightforward model: maintain exceptional habitat, stock quality birds, and let members hunt them.

The property features 13 distinctive hunting fields ranging from 30-40 acres each. Habitat includes corn, sorghum, switchgrass, and native woodlands that provide natural cover comparable to wild bird hunting. Members hunt professionally raised, fully plumaged ringneck pheasant with long tail feathers, along with chukar partridge and quail.

The hunting setup works like this: - Schedule your hunt through their online system - Staff releases your birds into your assigned field - Hunt with a pointer or flusher guide (request your preference in advance) - Harvest as many flushed birds as you want—no additional charges - Fields have cut and plowed walking paths for hunters of all ages - Dog wash room available after the hunt - Birds are cleaned and wrapped fresh at the Trading Post before you leave

Two 12-station sporting clay courses and a five-stand deck serve everyone from beginners to experienced shooters. Professional instruction available for those new to wingshooting. They also offer shotgun rentals for guests who didn't bring their own.
