Stone Bank Sportsmen's Club was established in 1974 and relocated to the Town of Ashippun in 1978, just north of the Dodge County line off O'Neil Road. The club operates as a private membership organization focused on shooting sports education, recreation, and community engagement.
The club maintains four dedicated shooting ranges on its grounds:
Members participate in organized leagues throughout the year. The club publishes league results and hosts seasonal events including the annual Deer Hunter's Sight-in (typically fall, open to the public). A Fisheree event runs in February. Monthly membership meetings occur on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
In 1995, Stone Bank members formed Heritage Shooting Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates an educational facility on the club grounds. Since then, the club has supported Wisconsin DNR Hunter Education courses and expanded to offer comprehensive training.

Membership meetings are held monthly. Applications must be downloaded and submitted before the board votes.
New Club Storage Building - The club recently began construction on a dedicated storage facility for equipment and member gear.
The Stone Bank Sportsmen's Club has established a strong tradition of recreation and education in the Ashippun/Oconomowoc area. The club honors its legacy through the John Moosreiner Memorial Scholarship - available to graduating high school seniors and college students from the Oconomowoc Area School District, Arrowhead School District, or children/grandchildren of club members.
Scholarship eligibility includes: - Parent/Guardian must be active NRA member - Minimum 2.5 GPA (C+) - Full-time enrollment in accredited college or technical school - Application deadline and requirements posted annually
