Stoughton Conservation Club operates three main facilities across Collins Road in Stoughton, Wisconsin, each specialized for different shooting disciplines. Members access rifle ranges at 25, 50, and 100 yards; indoor and outdoor pistol facilities; trap and skeet ranges; and both indoor and outdoor archery ranges.

Main Clubhouse (918 Collins Road) - Home base for membership meetings, board meetings, Hunter Education classes, indoor archery, trap, skeet, sporting clays, and 3D night archery shoots - Emergency phone: 608-877-1047

Rifle Range (944 Collins Road) - 25, 50, and 100 yard ranges for all firearms types - No phone available

Membership is open to adults 18+. The process is straightforward:

Membership Fees: $140 total - $100 annual membership fee - $30 one-time initiation fee - $10 access card fee - Spouses can purchase a second key card for $10

Mandatory orientation occurs on the second Monday of each month at 6 PM sharp at the main clubhouse. Prospective members learn about club resources, recreation opportunities, and rules during this session. Payment is cash or check only—no credit cards.

Membership is valid for one calendar year from the month you complete orientation and pay dues. Each member receives a non-transferable electronic access card required to enter facilities with card readers.

Youth programs run Saturday mornings year-round:

  • Youth Instructional Archery Program – 7:30 AM-12:15 PM, structured skill building
  • Youth Archery League – 12:15-3:00 PM, competitive format for young archers
  • Viking Lead Slingers – Youth trap shooting with new athlete orientation and returning athlete sign-up (mid-January)

Youth scholarship applications are available through the club for members seeking financial assistance.

The club maintains transparency through monthly meetings. General Membership Meetings are held at 7 PM on the second Monday of each month at the main clubhouse. Arrive early to ask questions without staying for the full meeting.
