Stoughton Conservation Club

Stoughton Conservation Club operates three main facilities across Collins Road in Stoughton, Wisconsin, each specialized for different shooting disciplines. Members access rifle ranges at 25, 50, and 100 yards; indoor and outdoor pistol facilities; trap and skeet ranges; and both indoor and outdoor archery ranges.

Membership is open to adults 18+. The process is straightforward:

Mandatory orientation occurs on the second Monday of each month at 6 PM sharp at the main clubhouse. Prospective members learn about club resources, recreation opportunities, and rules during this session. Payment is cash or check only—no credit cards.

Membership is valid for one calendar year from the month you complete orientation and pay dues. Each member receives a non-transferable electronic access card required to enter facilities with card readers.

The club runs structured leagues across multiple disciplines:

Beyond weekly leagues, SCC hosts specialized shooting events:

• •3D Archery Tournaments – 3D night shoots and full tournaments
• •Tri-Star Archery Tournament – Multi-day competitive event (January dates full day 7 AM-7 PM)
• •Women's Open Pistol – Public shooters welcome, monthly on second Sunday 12-2 PM ($5 non-member fee)
• •S3DA Indoor Archery Tournament – Full-day competition
• •Sight-In Clinic – Pre-season rifle preparation
• •Sporting Clays – Shotgun discipline
• •Trapathlon – Extended trap competition
• •Hunter Education – Classroom-based certification courses
• •Ice Fisheree – January tradition (January 31, 2026 event on the calendar)

Youth programs run Saturday mornings year-round:

• •Youth Instructional Archery Program – 7:30 AM-12:15 PM, structured skill building
• •Youth Archery League – 12:15-3:00 PM, competitive format for young archers
• •Viking Lead Slingers – Youth trap shooting with new athlete orientation and returning athlete sign-up (mid-January)

Youth scholarship applications are available through the club for members seeking financial assistance.

The club maintains transparency through monthly meetings. General Membership Meetings are held at 7 PM on the second Monday of each month at the main clubhouse. Arrive early to ask questions without staying for the full meeting.

A drop box is located in each range entry area for submitting membership dues. Facilities have no permanent staff, so scheduling is required for deliveries.
