Full description and what we offer

The Westby Rod & Gun Club started as a conservation organization back in 1937 and has evolved into Vernon County's most active sportsman club. They hold the distinction of being the longest surviving trout stocking operation in Wisconsin—and they're not slowing down.

Memberships start at $30 for a full year. For families, it's $50 (includes parents and kids under 12). If you're committed to the club, lifetime memberships run $200 per person or $300 for couples.

Your membership includes: - Unlimited range use - 10% discount on food at the clubhouse - Member-only discounts on camping and banquet hall rentals - Access to member-only drawings and raffles

Members get unlimited access to the shooting range for trap shooting and skills practice. The club actively recruits people interested in trap shooting, hunting, fishing, camping, and competitive shooting activities.

  • Trout Stocking: The club stocks over 10,000 Brook and Brown trout every year in Vernon County streams. This isn't a sideline—it's their core mission and has been for more than eight decades.
  • Pheasant Program: Each year, the club raises 200-400 pheasants for release in Vernon County. They fund the program through chicken BBQs and raffles (including a 3-gun raffle typically held in March).
