Argyle Rod & Gun Club

Argyle Rod & Gun Club is a premier shooting facility located in southwestern Wisconsin near the Green and Lafayette County lines. This established members-only club offers 80+ acres of pristine shooting grounds with comprehensive facilities for shotgun, rifle, and pistol sports.

The club features multiple specialized shooting venues:

• •Sporting Clays Course - 50-bird, eight-station course spread across expansive grounds
• •Trap Shooting Field - Traditional clay target shooting
• •Skeet Shooting Field - Dynamic shotgun sport
• •5-Stand Shooting Stations - Versatile clay target shooting with heated facility for winter use
• •Rifle Range - Open 8:00 AM to dusk
• •Pistol Range - Available during published hours

Argyle Rod & Gun Club operates as a members-only facility. The club is open for general shooting on Wednesday evenings and Sundays (10:00 AM–2:00 PM). A heated 5-stand facility operates Sunday mornings year-round beginning in January, with the last Sunday of each month featuring extended hours.

The club hosts hands-on Hunter Safety Courses conducted in its dedicated classroom facility. These Wisconsin DNR-certified courses are offered seasonally and listed on the official Wisconsin DNR website for registration.

All shooters must comply with strict club safety rules and wear eye and ear protection at all times. The rifle range closes whenever trap or skeet events are scheduled. Shooting hours are limited to daylight, and all Wisconsin DNR regulations apply.
