Full description and what we offer
Big Buck Outfitters controls hunting leases covering over 250,000 acres across Northeast Wyoming and Southeast Montana. These aren't random chunks of land—they're strategically blocked-up properties where multiple landowners share the philosophy of quality game management. Free-ranging game, but intensively managed for maturity and high animal numbers.
The operation has focused on quality deer and elk management since the 1990s. That consistency shows: they've steadily improved the age and trophy quality of harvested game across all species. Over 95% of archery clients since 1999 have had reasonable shot opportunities or successfully harvested quality animals.

Archery opportunities are where Big Buck Outfitters excels for trophy hunters. Trophy archery whitetails average around 140 P&Y (Pope & Young). Archery mulies run in the 160s on average. It's uncommon not to have a reasonable shot at 120-150 class whitetails or 150-180 class mule deer.
They actively manage clients through their hunt options—"be prepared to look over a lot of bucks" means selectivity is built into the system.
